Preston
Small-Town Quiet with Convenient Location
Evenly located between Beggs and Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the tiny unincorporated town of Preston offers a quiet escape with access to the shopping, dining, and attractions of both larger cities within minutes. For big-city business and entertainment, Tulsa is only a 35-minute drive to the north on Route 75. The town of Preston itself offers a post office, a school, several places of worship, and a few small businesses.

Okmulgee
A city of just 13,000, Okmulgee is rich in history, as well as modern attractions, amenities, and conveniences. A ten minute drive from home will yield all that Okmulgee has to offer, including historical tours, shopping and dining opportunities, and even recreation and entertainment. Head to the Creek Council House for a glimpse back through the history of the Muscogee people, or catch a show at the restored Orpheum Theatre. Located just six miles to the north west of Preston, Beggs is a city of just over 1,000 that offers options for small-town shopping and dining, Beggs Public School, and two recreational areas, Old Beggs Lake and New Beggs Lake. Beggs offers specialty retail shops, convenience services such as banks and grocery stores, and several local restaurants and eateries.
